Max every month

I am taking Max's pictures on the 27th of each month (I guess the "just born" was taken a week after he was born!) here is how much he has already grown in the last month!

We may need to find another way to have him on the puppy chair, 

he isn't going to fit laying for much longer!

Max has arrived!!!

This is way overdue, but Maxwell Scott Fougner is finally here!  I was induced on April 27th at 7:00am, and he took his time and was born at 10:56 that night.  He was 8 pounds 7 ounces, and 21 inches long.

Max is SO much fun!  I am enjoying spending all of my time with him!  Three weeks ago, Max was already a whopping 10 pounds and 22.5 inches long- he is growing so fast!

Fougner's are moving to FARGO!

We have more big news... we are moving to Fargo, ND!  It is a big change for me, but it will be exciting!  Jon got a job up there, so we will be moving at the end of May!  Big changes ahead for our family!

37 Weeks!

We are finally at FULL TERM!  HOORAY!  TIme seems like it has really flown by!  I had an appointment last Friday (April 6th) and Dr. said that Max will be here within a week or two!  Ever since then, time has been going by soooo slowly!  It seems like it has already been two weeks since then.  I have to keep telling myself that eventually Max will be here!

WHEW!  I feel HUGE!

Baby is the size of:  a stalk of swiss chard (huh?)
How far along? 37 weeks!
Due date: May 5, 2012 (he is measuring at April 28th now)
Total weight gain/loss:  Gained 1 pound since the last appt.
Maternity clothes? I refuse to buy new clothes now, I wear yoga pants and one of the few shirts I have left that fit me!  
Sleep: I still miss sleep... must be my body preparing me for baby!  Jon says I snore though and I do actually sleep!
Best moment this week: I can actually breathe now that Max has moved lower!
Food cravings: No cravings really, I feel a little sick sometimes like the first trimester again
Symptoms: Nothing really
Gender: 100% boy!
Labor Signs: He is moved down, I am starting to dilate... he is on the way out!
Belly Button in or out?  Surprisingly, it's still in!
Feeling toward Pregnancy: I just can't wait for Max to get here!
What I miss: Honestly, I miss standing without feeling like I have to pee!  
What I am looking forward to: Max's birthday!  Not sure when that will be but hopefully SOON!
Milestones: Getting to FULL TERM!  WOOHOO!

33 Weeks and 25 years old!

Baby Max is sure growing!  I think he had a growth spurt these past few weeks!  It is getting harder and harder to move around, I even have to think to myself "is it worth it" when I drop something on the floor :)

Today is also my big 25th birthday!  Jon and I had a wonderful, relaxing day!  It couldn't have been better! I am excited to see where the big "2-5" will take me and what changes go on in my life!  It is sure going to be an exciting year :)

Baby is the size of:  A large jicama (what's that?)  and weighs 4 pounds!
How far along? almost 33 weeks
Due date: May 5, 2012 (he is measuring at April 28th now)
Total weight gain/loss:  Gained 1 pound since the last appt.  but at the last appt. I had gained a few more than I anticipated :(  Oh well I guess!
Maternity clothes? Anything that fits lately!  Seems like I buy something and a week later it is too small now!
Sleep: I miss sleep!
Best moment this week: Today because it's my birthday!!!!  I am a big fan of my birthday :)
Movement: Still moving around ALL the time!
Food cravings: Frozen yogurt and SALAD... that's a new one!
Symptoms: Not too much- heartburn sometimes
Gender: 100% boy!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out?  Surprisingly, it's still in!
Feeling toward Pregnancy: I just can't wait for Max to get here!
What I miss: It was nice when I could bend over and pick something up!  
What I am looking forward to: Finishing up Max's room, we are almost done!  Finally!
Milestones: Getting to my birthday.  I know that sounds funny, but I remember last year it was a sad day because I was supposed to be pregnant with Scarlett on my birthday, so it was a big deal this year!

30 Weeks!

I am almost to the end of the 30th week!  Cannot believe we only have 9 weeks to go, time has flown by!  Last Sunday we got maternity photos taken with Savannah Leyde from the organization "Taylored to You".  She did an AMAZING job!  Taylored to You "helps grieving families overcome the sorrow of infant and pregnancy loss, while embracing the gift of a new life,"  it is so wonderful what they do!  Here is a sneak peek of our pics :)

27 Weeks!

Baby is the size of:  A head of Cauliflower (2 pounds!)
How far along? 27 weeks
Due date: May 5, 2012
Total weight gain/loss: Only gained 1 pound in the last month!  Woohoo!
Maternity clothes? Sometimes, usually comfy pants or leggings, I have now graduated to wearing Jon's T-shirts because mine are too tight!
Sleep: I am going to attempt to sleep in this weekend, because I am usually up by 7am every day for no reason (I work 12-8 every day).  So my sleep schedule has been usually going to bed at 11pm and up by 7am, not too good!
Best moment this week: I had the day off on Monday!
Movement: He moves around all the time!  After I eat anything, when I have to go to the bathroom... he is always kicking!
Food cravings: Still love my yogurt, also crave chocolate of course!
Symptoms: Not too much- heartburn sometimes
Gender: 100% boy!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out?  It's barely in, going to pop out any day now!
Feeling toward Pregnancy: I just can't wait for Max to get here!
What I miss: This week I noticed just how tired I get without doing much, even just an 8 hour work day is beyond exhausting now
What I am looking forward to: Putting Max's nursery together, wherever we will be living!
Milestones: Getting to 27 weeks!

26 and 27 weeks

How far along? 26 weeks!  
Due date: May 5, 2012
Total weight gain/loss: Only gained 1 pound in the last month!  Woohoo!
Maternity clothes? Sometimes, usually comfy pants or leggings, I have now graduated to wearing Jon's T-shirts because mine are too tight!
Sleep: I've come to the conclusion I will not be getting a GOOD night of sleep for the next 20 years!
Best moment this week: Passing the "100 days left" mark is pretty exciting
Movement: He's still moving around a lot
Food cravings: This past week it has been yogurt!  Greek or frozen yogurt- yummy!
Symptoms: Not too much
Gender: 100% boy!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out?  It's barely in, going to pop out any day now!
Feeling toward Pregnancy: I just can't wait for Max to get here!
What I miss: Being able to bend over and get back up right away, also not having to wake up at least 5 times to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night
What I am looking forward to: Putting Max's nursery together, wherever we will be living!
Milestones: Passing the 100 day mark!

25 Weeks

I am going to TRY to fill these questions out each week so I can remember the weeks leading up to Max's arrival!

Baby is the size of:  An ear of corn!
How far along? 25 weeks (24weeks, 4days)
Due date: May 5, 2012
Total weight gain/loss: 6 pounds total at the last appointment, but now I am always hungry so who knows!
Maternity clothes? Sometimes.  Mostly wear regular yoga pants (but otherwise maternity) and bigger size zip-ups and shirts!
Sleep: Not going so well!  I wake up many times at night.
Best moment this week: Actually seeing my belly move when Max kicked!
Movement: Lots!
Food cravings: Not too many, I do like my cereal though!
Symptoms: Sore back lately.
Gender: 100% boy!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out?  Still in!
Feeling toward Pregnancy: Honestly, this week I have been ready to just be done!  I am getting to the point where I am uncomfortable at random times and I am tired from not being able to sleep well.  
What I miss: Being able to bend over and get back up right away.  My hip has been popping whenever I bend now!
What I am looking forward to: Putting Max's nursery together, wherever we will be living!
Milestones: Seeing my belly move from Max's kick!

I couldn't wait to get a hamburger bun at the grocery store, 

so I used a hot dog bun.  

He was outside and I called him in and said something was weird with the oven,  

there was something inside it... get it... bun in the oven!

Jon wasn't able to make it to the appointment where we found out if

we were having a boy or girl, so I surprised him with a wrapped outfit!

The little sleeper said "Little Brother"!  He is so excited for a little boy!

19 Weeks!

Update! 25 weeks!

Ok I have been slacking majorly on this blog!  Here is a current picture of our baby BOY!  We already decided on naming him Maxwell Scott Fougner!  Cannot wait for Max to arrive!

My best friend, Aimee, and I are both pregnant!  Aimee is due on Feb. 14 with a baby girl!

SO EXCITED!

We are excited to announce that little miss Scarlett will be a big sister in May!  Little baby is due for arrival on May 5th, 2012!  We feel so blessed and happy to be able to share this news with everyone!

Welcome to the family, Jalynn Rose Fougner!  She is so beautiful, and looks so much like both her mommy and daddy!  We have been waiting for her to arrive for so long!

March for Babies- Team Scarlett

I should have posted these a long time ago, but I have been really busy!  Here are some pictures from the walk on April 30th.  It was supposed to be a cold, rainy day... it ended up being warm and sunny!  Scarlett was definitely shining her love on us!  Our team raised 1,715.00 for March of Dimes!

Update!

Here are some new things going on for us...

Jon is starting his internship/job tomorrow!  He is going to be working for Woelful Construction in Le Center, MN.  It is very exciting that he is starting his internship and finally really getting into construction!  I have known the Woelful's for a few years, he is going to be learning a lot from some wonderful people!

I realized today I haven't mentioned that we are going to have a new niece in August!  Jalynn Rose is due to arrive into Nic (Jon's brother) and Nichole's family on August 20th!  We are very excited to welcome another baby girl into our family!

Our nephew, Grant, is the cutest thing I have ever seen!  He has the cutest cheeks and smile!  Grant's dedication is on Sunday and we are so excited and proud to be his Godparents, I just love him to pieces!

Due Date

Scarlett's due date, April 23rd, came and went quickly, something I did not expect!  We spent the day at a friend's house celebrating her sons fifth birthday, who I have been baby sitting for since he was two!  I just tried to keep telling myself that this day was important, but Scarlett's real birthday is much more important and significant.  Anyways, just a few more days left of April, and then it's finally MAY!  March for Babies is coming up this Saturday (70% chance of rain)  and Team Scarlett has made a ton of money!  Yay!  Can't wait to honor my baby girl on that special day!  I am already feeling relieved that the due date has passed us, I feel like I can finally breathe again!

April showers bring May flowers?

April begins, and I am already wishing it would fly by.  I am worried for the days ahead.  I am worried for how Jon and I are going to feel on the day of Scarlett's due date (April 23rd).  I try to keep telling myself that day doesn't matter anymore, what matters is Scarlett's real birthday.  I decided when Scarlett was born, that I would not be celebrating Easter this year, because it would be too hard for me.  I now have mixed emotions about Easter, but I think I will still pass on the celebrations.  I will celebrate Easter of course, just not in the big family celebration that I do every year.  I cannot wait for May, and to finally stop worrying about the future dates!  I hate wishing the days away, but May sounds so much better than April right now!

Back from Cabo...

We are back from the sunshine :(  It was hard to leave Cabo, what an amazing vacation!
